Waterscape pond landscape design installation

Objective:

Homeowner wanted to reduce grass area for less maintenance (mowing) and to add a water feature with outdoor seating

Design Solution:

1.	installed a large freeform pond in the center of the yard- visible from inside the house, from the existing outdoor screened porch and from the two new patios
2.	created a 14 ft circular patio (see round umbrella table with 4 chairs) The space was made more intimate by enclosing it in a raised flower bed with stone bench
3.	there is a second stone patio on the opposite side of the pond but you can't see it in these photos
4.	very little grass remaining- just enough to "water" the dog so low maintenance goal was accomplished
